Mintzberg's latest book launch
Henry Mintzberg's 35-year career in making sense of managerial work reached another milestone at the end of 2009 with the publication of his book 'Managing'. Following the buzz surrounding 'Managers not MBAs' - which turned the spotlight on the limitations of MBA education and contrasted it with the IMPM - his latest book builds on his long-term interest in the frequent disconnections between 'leadership' and 'management', and between strategy and planning on the one hand and day-to-day operations and actions on the other.
